Check the voltage.

Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (B) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (E).

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage Ratio:

(Battery voltage is 12 V)

(0.5) 1.8 to 2.52 V
1 2.76 to 3.48 V
(1.5) 3.72 to 4.44 V

(2.5) 5.64 to 6.36 V
3 6.6 to 7.32 V
(3.5) 7.56 to 8.28 V
4 8.52 to 9.24 V
(4.5) 9.48 to 10.2 V
5 10.44 to 11.16 V


If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight leveling switch.

Illumination Inspection.

i.

Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination condition.

OK:
Measurement Condition Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E) 		Illuminates


If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight leveling switch.
